The FOX Network is airing two new shows -– “Fringe” and “Dollhouse” — with shorter commercial breaks, in the hope that more viewers will actually watch the ads. But there may be some unintended consequences for writers, and for viewers. Sadly, this was my last story for NPR’s Day to Day.
